Our Shopping Experience Will Forever Be Changed!

There's a new solution to the shopping dilemmas we all face...trying on clothes! Lucky for us, a new technology has emerged and body scanners are the new rage. The very first Fit Place is located in a Jo-Ann Fabrics store. The body scanners use radiowaves to determine the size of the body being scanned. The fabric is then immediately cut to fit the size of the body. The scanner has been tested in Levi's, Lane Bryant, American Eagle Outfitters and the Gap. It is unsure how long it will take for the scanners to be integrated into mainstream malls across America, but it is estimated to be a success. Check out the link at: http://www.wired.com/news/technology/0,71813-0.html?tw=rss.technology .

Get excited about this new technology! See you tomorrow!

New digital recorders support podcasting

The New York Times Circuits section today has a feature article on digital recorders (the latest generation audio recorders) that use flash memory (like digital cameras) for recording audio. These are great for interviews, and even better if you're interested in podcasting, providing an easy interface between the recorder and computer.

This is an illustrated post

This is a NOT a picture of our class, but we'll get one up soon.
